Organ recitals at Melton church to hit the right note again

Lunchtime organ recitals at St Mary's Church in Melton are back.

Thanks to the refurbishment of the Malcolm Sargent Memorial Organ the sessions will return as normal on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, starting at 1pm.

Entry is free and refreshments will be available.

The programme starts on October 9, when Keith Morgan, who many will remember from his time as director of music at St Mary’s, will play.

Edgars Cuzinskis, director of music at the United Reformed Church in Melton will play on October 23, followed by Ron Berry, organist at St Luke’s Church, Thurnby, on November 13.

Before Christmas, current director of music at St Mary’s, James Gutteridge will perform on December 11.
