At the Carington Arms in Ashby Folville tonight, Fallen Angels are putting on a superb New Year’s Eve party. They are set to play good time Irish, country and folk music with a bit of blues and rock and roll thrown in. This will be an evening of complete and utter musical nonsense and excess.

Crazy Ape will perform their usual brand of tongue and cheek party classics tonight at The Market Tavern. Their repertoire is aimed towards one goal. Dancing, laughing and enjoying yourself for the whole evening.

2 Gentlemen Play The Pops are set to play at The Boat tonight. They are not some kind of “lager-shandy lah-de-dah ‘she’s gone and left me’ miserablist duo” they’re a “blunderbuss wielding, floor shaking, call the cops, top buzz our kid, don’t stop ‘til you get enough two piece band.”

Stevie Wallbanks takes to the stage at The Cherry Tree pub tonight. Dance the night away to the 50s, 80s, ska, mod and new wave sounds.

At the Genny B tonight celebrate the New Year in style by attending Picto Mexico’s free gig. The boys will be playing their biggest set ever, dressed all snazzy.

Head down to The Grapes tonight to see Sounds Rite. Brothers John and Ronnie will be play ing rock, pop and popular ballads from the last five decades.

The Gypsies are set to perform at The Crown in Asfordby tonight. They will play original and cover songs by the likes of Hendrix, Floyd and The Animals.

The Genny B hosts Slither on Saturday evening. What better way to start the New Year than by getting down to the venue for some Slitherobics. Become Slithertrim for 2016. Expect some of the greatest rock songs to be played from the likes of Whitesnake, ZZ Top, AC/DC and more.

Let Rachel Paul blow your mind at The Grapes on Saturday night with a selection of classic hits from the ‘60s to the present day.
