An afternoon of jazz music this weekend hosted by Frances, the Duchess of Rutland, will raise money for sight loss charity, Vista.
The event, in the gardens of Belvoir Lodge, is on Saturday from 12 noon to 3.30pm.
There will be performances from jazz band, Something For The Weekend, and the Duchess, and her gardener of over 30 years will be offering tours of the beautiful private gardens, sharing the secrets of its splendour and selling home grown plants in aid of the charity.
Visitors will also get the chance to enjoy a variety of craft stalls, a raffle, deli stand, Pimm’s bar and refreshments.
The Duchess of Rutland said: “It is a wonderful afternoon of live jazz and an excellent opportunity for everyone, especially garden enthusiasts, to enjoy the beautiful views and gardens of Belvoir Lodge.
“As a keen gardener, I enjoy the event immensely and have my own plant stall on the day.
“In addition, our resident gardener is happy to provide tours and share the secrets of maintaining and nurturing these picturesque surroundings.”
Covering four acres, the grounds include herbaceous borders, a rose garden, a white garden, water features, and mature shrubs and trees.
Tickets cost £5 per person and children under five go free. Advance booking is recommended.
