A male voice choir based in the Vale of Belvoir have organised a summer musical concert to raise funds for Dove Cottage Day Hospice in Stathern.
The event at Hose Village Hall on Saturday, July 9, at 7pm, will see The Belvoir Wassailers perform alongside the Belvoir Big Band and Harby Junior School Choir.
Refreshments including Pimms, tea and coffee and cakes will be available and a retiring collection will be taken. Musical items are set to include Tuxedo Junction, La Bamba and Tears in Heaven.
Since 2010, the Wassailers have raised £17,700 for chairites in aid and around the Vale of Belvoir and have recently appointed a new musical director, Caroline Jones, from Long Clawson.
