Melton's Teenage Market is back for a seventh time

The Teenage Market is a growing nationwide initiative to support local young people and transform town centres. The energy, diversity and vibrancy of the young people who take part in Teenage Markets is helping to breathe life back into high streets, town centres and market areas across the country.

BID manager Shelagh Core said: “Melton’s last Teenage Markets have been a huge success, with creative market stalls and a full line-up of live music and entertainment throughout the day.

“This September is our largest Teenage Market to date with eleven market traders.

“We are excited to welcome new traders AnniesCandles, Hennabymaria, British Bird Collages, Madeline Elizabeth, MUA and Jamboree 2019 Scouts to our Teenage Market, as well as Brooksby Melton College and “Health for Teens.

“We also welcome back our regular traders Faithfully Made, Sew Eve, Beccas Design and Signature Print Design.

“As always, we have a fantastic musical line-up, thanks again to the support of Tom at Icon Music, including Eva Rose, May Perks, Sam Collick, Sweeney Todd, MGMT Ukulele Group, Zumba Fitness and the cast of West Side Story, presented by SKY Theatre.”
