On Friday, Matthew Bloomfield opens the batting at The Crown for a Princes Trust Charity extravaganza. Right Royal Rockout is to be hosted by Fionna from Velocity and also playing are Leicester Rock band Another Day Down.

The Pesky Alligators will bring their high-energy drums/guitar combo to the Noels Arms on Friday, performing both original material and unique interpretations of covers from such diverse sources as Motorhead, Dolly Parton and Tom Waits.

Where Words Fail (The Generous Briton, Friday) will perform covers ranging from Bon Jovi to Iron Maiden.

Back to the Eighties II (The Market Tavern, Saturday) bigger and better and with a BBQ to keep everyone fed. Includes We Tried Kylie, RockSka’, Eighties Revellers and Pout at the Devil. Tickets are sold out but check for updates.

Stuart Leigh the lead singer of the successful function band performs a range of eras and genres at The Grapes on Saturday.

Saturday also sees The Boneyard Blues perform at the Genny B. This band offer a fiery spicy blend of blues rock, glam and psychedelia delivered in a stripped down rocking three piece format.

Ouse Valley Singles Club (Noels, Saturday) are a unique three piece outfit hailing from Bedford who blend the energy of punk with the swing of rock ‘n’ roll and then layer this with hilarious folk like story telling.

The Fab Two are set to perform at the Noels on Sunday. They are a highly respected and authentic Nottingham based Beatles tribute duo. With almost every Beatles song in their repertoire, they should be able to deal with any request you ask for.
