Have your say

Flanked by two of her besties, Ray and Dave, Noels Arms landlady Jo Bowtell takes to the stage on Christmas Eve for an intimate acoustic session from 7pm.

The pub will be closing at 10pm so we can all be tucked up early, ready for Santa.

Bonnylou (Boxing Day, 9.30pm) delivers her powerful and energetic live performance at the Generous Briton.

She has a unique style drawn from various influences including Janis Joplin’s psychedelic, bluesy sounds of the late 60s and 70s, and Tina Turner’s powerful ballad style from the 1980s.

There will be punk rockin’ around the Christmas tree this weekend as XMA hold their festive party at the Genny B on Saturday from 9pm.

This end-of-year blowout will see the hosts belting out punk and festive classics ably supported by Steve Wallbanks.

If you need a workout to shift those extra Christmas pounds then you can join One Man Two Tone to stomp and Skank to hits from Madness, Bad Manners, The Specials and The Jam.

The mighty Locks invite you to shake off all of your overindulges with them on Saturday at the Noels (9.30pm). The most beautiful boy band ever to exist in Melton!

Charlie Grace (The Grapes, Saturday 9.30pm) is a fun personality vocalist from Doncaster singing songs from the 50s to the present day. Charlie offers something a little different to other performers and is a definite crowd pleaser.

She covers most genres and has something in her show for everyone.
