The 13th annual Melton Mowbray Beer Festival returns this weekend with plenty to offer.

The festival, held at the Cattle Market Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight, will boast nearly 60 real ales and around 25 ciders with a mixture of local breweries and ones from further afield.

For the third year running, the festival will host judging for the Champion Beer of Britain (East Midlands) Award in the speciality mild ale class.

Live music comes from We Tried Kylie and The Platforms on Friday, and Project Blue and The Worx on Saturday.

Admission is £1 before 6pm and £5 after with CAMRA members getting free entry before 6pm and £2 after.
