One of the largest regional food festivals in the country - the Melton Mowbray Food Festival – will be held in the town’s Cattle Market on October 3 and 4.
Visitors will get a chance to taste and buy some of the UK’s best locally-produced food and drink . Now in its 12th year the festival will feature over 150 of the country’s finest producers showcasing their food and drink products. Celebrity chefs, regional cooks, bakers and bread makers will be demonstrating recipes in the festival theatre and there will also be a family food and fun area to keep the kids entertained as well as teaching them about food in a fun and interactive way.
