Be afraid, be very afraid as the zombies will be back jumping out and scaring people again at this year’s Zombie Trail.
The event at Melton Country Park takes place on Halloween (October 31) and encourages participants of all ages to navigate their way round a pitch black three-mile course.
Contestants are given glowsticks and torches and at various intervals they will be confronted by an intimidating army of zombies.
Volunteers will be dressed in bloodied, tattered costumes to resemble the ‘living dead’ and will hide in the woods before revealing themselves.
David Cowell, centre manager at Melton Learning Hub, which is organising the event, said: “The Zombie Trail is back-bigger and better than 2014.
“Last year was a complete sell out with 200 participants so whatever you do, don’t miss out. Book your space now!”
The event starts at 7.30pm from the Country Park Cafe/Visitors Centre. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.
Entry to the trail is £6 for over 18s and £4 for those under that age. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for an information pack.
A Zombie Trail pre-party has also been organised at the Hub’s new facility The Venue (October 30). This will be for youngsters between the ages of 13 and 17.
