Organisers of the Frisby Fun Day are hoping to have the weather on their side as they step up preparations for this year’s event.
The main attractions include a ‘Great Frisby Bake Off’ with classes for adults and children, a penalty shootout competition, a children’s fancy dress competition, tug of war and live music.
The fun-filled event will be kicking off at 10.30am on Saturday, at Frisby Village Hall.
Mr and Mrs Cedric Ginns and Derek Welch, who combined have worked over 120 years for the village hall, will be officially opening the fun day at noon.
Other attractions on the day include a bouncy castle, face painting, create a crown, children’s games, plant and cake stalls, a tombola, raffle, light lunches, hotdogs, burgers, a bar and refreshments.
One of the organisers, Pru Smith, said: “This will be a great way to spend your Saturday.
“Come to Frisby, soak up some sunshine and enjoy special family fun.”
The event has free admission and aims to raise funds for the village hall and the church.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic should the weather stay fine.
