An exhibition that honours the role the ancestors of current Hoby residents and society members played in the First World War is currently being held at Melton Library.
Hoby residents and The Hoby and District Local History Society’s “Forget Me Not” exhibition runs until December 4 and is free to view.
On display is war time memorabilia, family archives and there are over 50 stories of villagers’ ancestors as told by their sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.
The exhibition has been organised as part of Hoby’s First World War centenary commemorations.
It is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm.
