Enjoy range of activities as part of mental health awareness week

A range of activities are taking place in Melton and across the borough this week as part of a Mental Health Awareness Week (May 16-22).

A tai chi session, costing £3 is being held at the Bradgate Flats in Asfordby today from 10am to 11am.

Walking basketball, organised by the Leicester Riders, takes place at Meltons Sport Village on Burton Road from 6pm to 7pm. Ideal for families and older adults, the first session will be free.

Tomorrow there will be a free Magpie Craft Group session at Me and My Learning, Phoenix House, on Nottingham Road, 10am to noon.

And on Saturday there will be walking football for adults at the Asfordby Hill playing fields (Mowbray Rangers ground), from 10.30am to 11.30am.
