Discover barn owls at meeting in Melton

Have your say

A fascinating illustrated talk about barn owls is to be given by the Belvoir Barn Owl Conservation Group in Melton next Tuesday (December 1).

The presentation at the RAFA Club (24, Asfordby Road) will include information on the local barn owl population in the town and the conservation scheme across the borough.

The talk has been organised by the Friends of Melton Country Park to raise funds for their projects in the park including a new sensory garden and path that will provide enhanced disabled access to areas of the park in winter months.

The event runs from 7.15-8.15pm and is £2 for adults with children under 12 free.
