A renowned dairy in the Vale of Belvoir has won a gold medal for its Stilton.
Colston Bassett was named national Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards - at Birmingham’s NEC.
Dairy manager Billy Kevan said: “This is the second year in a row that our Stilton has brought home a gold medal from the World Cheese Awards, and we couldn’t be happier.
“Receiving a prize at the World Cheese Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is something really special.”
The World Cheese Awards is the globe’s largest cheese competition. Throughout the event 2,727 cheeses, from all over the world, were judged by 250 experts,
