Summer may be drawing to a close but events celebrating life in the borough will come thick and fast in September.
This weekend sees Harby Country Show, a vintage working weekend return on Saturday and Sunday.
The event, organised by the Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group, is held at Canal Farm and offers some great attractions for all the family.
Ring events will include Mountgrace Gun Dog Show Display Team, Anglo-Saxon re-enactment, working horses, New St George Morris Dancers, Oakley Foot Beagles (Sat), Belvoir Fox Hounds (Sun) and classic car, motorcycle and tractor display plus a dog show (Sun only).
Other attractions feature a Punch and Judy show, a tombola, produce sales, skittles and children’s games.
There will also be World War One lorries and a 1916 field kitchen on display as well as free tractor and trailer rides, a visit from the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance helicopter, displays of hedge laying, steam threshing, woodcutting and farriering (Sun)plus crafts and model displays.
The event will have a licensed bar and there will be a horticultural and produce show (open to residents within five miles of Harby).
It starts at 10am and is £5 for adults and accompanied children under 16 free.
