Burton Lazars Arts and Crafts Club is holding an open day in the village hall on Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
The display will include paintings, drawings, calligraphy, spinning, weaving, cross stitch and fused glass, quilting, embroidery, a tombola and refreshments.
Club member Christopher Clayton said: “Each year club members hold an open day where they put on display examples of their work and at the same time raise funds for local charities.
“Over the last eight years over £6,000 has been donated to Rainbows, Alzheimer’s Society, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Parkinson’s UK, Take Heart, the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Air Ambulance twice, and the Melton branch charities.”
This year the club will be supporting Dove Cottage Day Hospice in Stathern.
