Young super sleuths are being invited to part in a pumpkin hunt at Melton Country Park.
Children will be given a treasure map and have to find the hidden pumpkins in the country park. Each pumpkin will have a letter attached to it and, at the end, they will have to arrange the letters to find a well-known Halloween-type answer. There are also questions for parents to answer.
The pumpkin hunt is free and there will be a small prize for those completing the hunt.
The fun event will take place at the country park on Wednesday (October 21) at 11am, starting at the cafe. It is best suited to children who are walking but everyone is welcome. No booking is needed.
The event, organised with the Melton Sports and Health Alliance team, is also being supported by Melton Council, Active Together and Leicestershire Police. The police will have an information stall on the day.
