Some of the lead parts for Sky Theatre’s Les Miserables School Edition productions at Melton Theatre next month, have been given to youngsters from Melton and the borough.
Sky Theatre, which is owned by The Performing Stars Academy founders Lex and Suzanne Forrester, has spent the past few months recruiting talented singers and actors to join its cast.
The lead male, Jean Val Jean has been given to Brooksby Melton College student Charlie Harris, Mr Thernadier has been given to Gwilym Roberts who also attends Brooksby Melton College, Elle Taylor has been given the part of Eponine and Ilea Cavner has been given the part of Fantine.
Currently the cast is undergoing two weeks of intensive workshops, in which previous West End cast member of Les Miserables Zoe Curlett, is helping to ensure the performers get the best opportunity to put on the highest standard of performance.
Sky Theatre is putting on six performances of The Les Miserables School Edition musical at Melton Theatre from September 15-19.
