A Hologram For The King (12A)

Today at 6pm and Friday at 8.30pm.

Florence Foster Jenkins (PG)

Today at 8.15pm.

Eddie The Eagle (PG)

Director Fletcher (Sunshine On Leith) tells the literally uplifting story of have-a-go ski jumper Eddie Edwards, one of Britain’s best-known sporting figures – as famous for losing as he was for winning, but dearly loved for his tireless enthusiasm and eccentricities. An inspiring comedy drama reminiscent of Billy Elliot and Slumdog Millionaire, Eddie The Eagle isn’t about being the best; it’s about overcoming adversity, having your moment in the spotlight and enjoying every minute of it.

Friday at 6pm.

Angry Birds (U)

Boasting tens of millions of downloads, one of Finland’s greatest exports is the comical video game Angry Birds. A movie about the loveable-but-antsy, feathered-but-flightless friends is finally here. We’ll find out exactly why they’re so angry as we visit the island paradise where they’re all living a happy life. All of them, that is, except a trio of outsiders: Red (Sudeikis, Horrible Bosses) with his bad temper, the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) and speed freak Chuck (Gad). When the island is invaded by little green piggies led by the cunning Leonard (Bill Hader), our unlikely heroes determine to discover the pigs’ motives and take action.

Saturday at 1.30pm and 3.45pm.

Our Kind Of Traitor (15)

While holidaying in Morocco, British couple Perry and Gail (McGregor, Harris) befriend a Russian businessman. But when he pressures them to deliver information to MI6, the couple are led into a murky and dangerous world in this taut adaptation of John le Carré’s bestseller. Saturday at 6pm.

Eye In The Sky (15)

An action thriller loaded with agonising moral dilemmas, Eye In The Sky is a nerve-shredding account of a top-secret operation to capture a group of terrorists in Kenya. Military intelligence officer Colonel Powell (Mirren) argues that a drone strike may prevent an imminent terrorist attack. But when a little girl wanders into the kill zone, the US-based drone pilot (Paul) is loath to pull the trigger. Saturday at 8.30pm.
