On Friday night, the Noels Arms hosts Platform Nine as part of their Early Doors sessions.

The duo cover a wide range of musical genres, anything from ballads to classic rock, in their own unique stripped back acoustic style.

The Market Tavern hosts ‘Back to the 80’s III’ on Saturday. The charity event from 7pm to 1am includes and disco and three live bands.

RockSka will deliver beefy rock covers of hits by artists like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy and The Jam and off beat sounds from Madness, The Specials and Bad Manners.

Reckless are ready to rock after smashing it at the Glastonbudget Festival last month. They will perform all that rocked in the 80’s and 90’s. A must for all fans of Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi and Heart.

    Finally We Tried Kyle will quite simply blow you away and will perform classic party songs (with the exception of any Kylie). Riki on vocals has a range that makes it sound like the band have really got three lead vocalists on stage.

    Slither gig at the Genny B on Saturday. This slick outfit will cover classic tunes you know and love, but also some great-head banging favourites you wouldn’t expect.

    The Noels Arms hosts Joel Wildgoose and the River Chickens on Saturday. They will perform covers by the likes of Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

    Saturday sees John Barry take to the stage at The Grapes. He will bring his wide selection of sixties and seventies hits to entertain music fans.

    The Loughborough Concert Band will perform at Play Close Bandstand on Sunday.

    The band will play a wide variety of music including songs from shows and films, light music and original concert band repertoire.

    The Noels Arms hosts Mia and the Moon on Sunday. Dubbed “mesmerising” by Mel B of the Spice Girls, Laura and Mary-Anne will deliver a gospel sound reaching out to people of all ages.

    The Carington Arms is the venue to be at to see the Groove Merchants perform on Sunday. They usually play a fusion mixture of jazz funk, jazz blues and jazz rock.

    Tuesday sees Melton Folk Club gather in the Tiger Room at The Crown. This is a new venture that welcomes people of all ages and is hosted by Adrian Kerr.
