David Ward is recognisable from BBC Three’s We Are Klang, his upbeat warmth and spontaneity has made him the choice host for the heats for both BBC’s New Comedy Awards and C5’s So You Think You’re Funny?

Philip Simon is one of the most sought after acts working on the UK comedy circuit, he has recently been working as a rehearsal guest on BBC TV’s Mock the Week and Taskmaster for Dave.

Roger Swift is bonkers, an energetic prop-meister and pun-merchant based in Telford, Shropshire. He delivers prop gags and puns with elan.

Thomas Rackham has an impressive comedy CV that speaks for itself. Comedy Gladiators 2016 – winner and The NATYS 2016 – finalist.

Winter Foenander is a full-time comic, writer and podcaster. She has travelled the UK entertaining crowds from Margate to Cornwall and Scotland to Brighton. Winter is a likeable, energetic, performer who dishes out jokes and improvised routines with skill and fervour that belies his experience.

The Crown has booked Sunny Daye to entertain crowds on Friday. She has supported on tour greats such as Joe Cocker, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie.

On Friday The Grapes is the place to be to see Billy Idol tribute act Paul Fetherstone.

Vertigo Tarts gig at the Genny B on Friday. They’re a fun and lively band who play a wide variety of well-known music such as Thin Lizzy, Status Quo, REM, Pink Floyd and others.

Saturday sees The Kirby Twins Acoustic Club present Govannen. The band will play traditional and original Celtic music at Kirby Bellars Village Hall.

The Wayfarers play at The crown on Saturday. Their mission is to take over the world, one pub at a time. Brought up on a healthy, balanced diet of Nirvana, The Buzzcocks, The Strokes, The Smiths, The Doors, The Who, Oasis, and a host of other acts considered great.

The Genny B is the venue to be at to see Talisman on Saturday. Expect to hear tunes from Maiden, Metallica, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot amongst many others.

On Saturday Wellard Willy will perform at the Noels Arms. Expect lots of fun, lots of Bowie, Stones, Mott the Hoople, Wings and Alice Cooper.

Chris Byrne takes over the The Grapes on Saturday. His set will include the very best of rock ‘n’ roll, soul, Motown, 60s and pop.

David Bowes takes the stage at The Crown on Sunday. He will play a great collection of 60s, 70s, and 80s music to the present day.

The Noels Arms will host Hillbilly Jukebox on Sunday. From ‘punkabilly’ to ‘discobilly’ the four-piece band will cover all your favourite songs, hillbilly style.

Tuesday sees Melton Folk Club gather at The Crown, a new venture for people of all ages and hosted by Adrian Kerr.
