A food festival in it’s 17th year at Long Clawson Village Hall is raising money for community charities.
The event, which starts at 11am-4pm on Saturday, features over 25 stalls, selling a wide range of local produce, crafts, gifts and cards for Christmas.
There will also be light lunches, a tombola and a prize draw.
Run by Long Clawson volunteers, the event continues to be well-supported from across the Vale of Belvoir, with all proceeds going to St Remigius Church and the village hall.
Confirmed marketeers this year include Belvoir Brewery, Hambleton Bakery, Mrs King’s Pork Pies, Rutland Charcuterie, I C Fudge, Botterill’s Birds, Lings Lane Larder, Nice Pies, Sophie’s Flowers, With...Chocolate, The Fairtrading Post, Melton Cheeseboard, Parsnips and Pears, Squirrel Stores and Fat Cheeks Food Co
Celebrity TV chef Rachel Green will be opening the event at and talking to people about the Kill It! Cook It! Eat It! BBC Three programme she recently appeared in.
Admission is £1 for adults, 50p for children aged five to 16 and under 5s go free.
