Stapleford Miniature Railway hosts its second open weekend of the year for steam buffs old and young.
The group throws open the gates to its base at Stapleford Park from Saturday through to Bank Holiday Monday for an event held in support of Leicestershire and Rutland hospice Loros.
The 10-and-a-quarter inch gauge miniature railway will be up and running for rides, while vintage exhibits include showman’s engine, steam organ and steam roller.
There will also be vintage vehicles and tractors, trade stands, craft displays and machine demonstrations.
A licensed bar will be open and refreshments served throughout the weekend.
Admission is from 10am each day and costs £3, with free entry for under 12s.
Camping and caravan tickets are available at £25 which includes admission.
