A field of 54 seniors turned out at Stoke Rochford GC to play the 18th round of the Winter Warmers series: a Texas scramble.
John Martindale, Ron Kent, Roger Nicholls and Colin Howett won with 68 (nett 60.9) from the team of seniors’ vice-captain Brian White, his brother Phil and Tim Haward with 69 (nett 61.8).
Alan Church, Eddie Malloy and Ray Beal took third place on countback with 71 (nett 62.2) from Brian Ayto, Barry Gaunt and Mike Palmer.
For the first time since September there was a change at the top of the leaderboard, with only two rounds left, as Phil White took the overall lead with 44 points.
David Hamilton is just a point back in second with Roger Nicholls third on 40.
