Stoke Rochford Golf Club’s ladies’ section played for the Innocent Vase.

Marion Carvath won the par competition with a score of one, pipping runner-up Carol Hamilton (0) and third-placed Sheila Dugmore (-2).

* The end-of-season Feminine Fiasco, a competition for all ladies to have represented the club in matches this season, was played as a team event.

Elaine Kirby, Avis Griffin and Joan Lennard won with 85, three ahead of Sue Bellingall, Pauline Haggerty and Sheila Dugmore. Third place went to Roseanne McKee, Sue Booth and Dorne Werner.

* The 50 Up Cup was won on countback by Carol Hamilton with nett 74. Marion Carvath was second and Sue Bellingall took third place with nett 75.

* The last competition of the season was the Golden Jubilee Trophy, presented to the club by Ruth Greenfield who handed out the prizes.

Chris Rowley won the medal competition with nett 71 from Elaine Kirby (nett 75) who pushed Carol Hamilton into third on countback.

Five-handicapper Pam Watson took the gross prize with a round of 84.
