The Stilton Striders were out in force on Sunday at Long Clawson and Wymeswold.
Mike Bryan led the Melton club home at the Clawson 10k in a time of 45min 56secs, almost two minutes ahead of nearest clubmate Greg Pettingill (47.44).
Michael Atton was next home in 48.03 followed by Mick Stevens (49.05), Rob Beers (49.06), Luke Eggleston (49.31), Dan Valencia (50.58), Andy Nicholls (52.24) and John Houghton (53.37).
Nicholas Smith (54.02) was next, representing his first claim club, Stamford Striders, ahead of Danny Casey (55.49), Tony Allen (57.13), Louise Houghton (57.32), Ben Pickard (57.33), Lloyd Willett (59.09) and Celina Silver, also representing the Stamford Striders, in 1hr 06min 15secs.
* A trio of Striders joined the 241 runners who took on the undulating out-and-back course at the annual Wymeswold Waddle five-mile road race.
All of the Striders put in good times, and Jason Barton was the first back, finishing in fifth place, and second-placed senior, in a time of 28min 57secs.
Next home was Mike Brighty, finishing strongly in 75th in a time of 37.23, and Tam Nicol crossed the line in 208th in a time of 49.10.
The Wilson family, from Melton, also took part, Joshua finishing 29th in 33.15, David clocking 39.34 for 98th, and Jane finished 102nd in a time of 39.40.
