Old Dalby maintained their narrow lead at the top of Division N with a 131-run win over Nottinghamshire Deaf on Saturday.
After winning the toss, Dalby elected to bat and opener Alistair Fell (144 not out) got off to a good start, hitting two fours in the first over.
And so it continued as he and opening partner Ben Wass (90) piled up the runs.
Joe Gant (18) and youngsters Alfie Greaves (14) and Matthew Lindley (10 not out) took the home side to a total of 312-9 from their 45 overs.
The visitors made a steady start to their reply with Wilcox, Hundel and Savage the main contributors, but Dalby’s bowlers contained them and ended their innings on 181 all out in 41.1 overs.
David Greaves (4 for 21), Joe Gant (2 for 17) and Richard Harris (2 for 38) were the chief wicket-takers.
