Melton avenged their defeat from earlier in the season with a complete team performance, sticking to their game plan and keeping Belgrave under pressure throughout.
After an even opening 10 minutes, Melton began to control the scrum and force the home side backwards, allowing Haywood, Peters and Dennison to get on their backs and force mistakes and turnovers.
The front five of Jeremiah, Webster, Sims, Broughton and Meakin scrummaged well, but their main strength was at the breakdown where they protected the ball well and drove forward from the rucks.
This set up the next platform where Greaves at scrum-half had an easy game to manage, either urging the forwards or letting Farish have the ball to feed his backs.
Jeremiah burst through for the first of nine tries followed by a superb second when the forwards drove for the line and Greaves fed Farish whose arcing run to the blind side and his power took him past the last defenders to make it 10-0.
Melton gave away a needless penalty to allow Belgrave back onto the attack, but good defence by Freestone, A. Broughton and Warwick held them up. The ball broke for Blagburn to race upfield and good support from Meakin and Freestone allowed Webster to score, Farish adding the conversion.
Melton were not finished and from a quickly-taken penalty, Forfar was held up short and Meakin drove over to build a 22-0 half-time lead.
Melton held their concentration and despite Belgrave reducing the deficit with a deserved try, the visitors hit straight back.
From a good lineout, Chambers made ground and Freestone went down the short side to make it 27-7.
Substitute Martorano then fed Warwick to make it 32-7 before Bowles came on for his second team debut and used his pace well to feed Forfar who was held up just short. From the ruck Sims drove over.
Fittingly, Jeremiah who had started the scoring, capped it with the final try. Martorano added the conversion to cap a very competent display against difficult opponents.
