Melton RFC Under 8s extend unbeaten run at Coalville

The Melton RFC U8s sportingly cheer their Coalville opponents after extending their unbeaten run EMN-171031-100957002

Melton RFC Under 8s continued their unbeaten run this season against Coalville on Sunday.

Following their recent successes with an attacking style of play, the coaches decided to focus on defence in order to help the team win more ball and score even more tries.

The defensive line was solid, leaving Coalville with nowhere to go apart from backwards and into touch for the majority of the morning.

Melton won maximum possession of the ball as a result, leaving the runners to finish the job.

Fisher joined the list of forward-running try scorers with Munday providing crucial support.

A depleted squad will travel to Syston on Sunday to face Syston and Market Harborough, while the Burton Road ground has been chosen to play host to the preliminary rounds of the county cup.

A busy morning of action starts at 10am.
