Melton professional rugby player Will Hurrell goes up against his former club tomorrow (Friday) when he lines up for Bristol against Leicester Tigers.
The former Melton RFC junior has been named in the starting XV for the Premiership strugglers for the match at Ashton Gate (kick-off 7.45pm) which will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
Hurrell’s form has been a rare bright spot for Bristol this season who are bottom in their first season back in the top flight.
They are without a win from their opening eight games and sacked head coach Andy Robinson earlier this month.
Hurrell has made six league appearances this season following his move from Championship side Doncaster Knights in the summer.
The 26-year-old was a leading light in the Tigers academy and represented England at all levels up to Under 20s, but left Welford Road in 2011 after being unable to break into the senior side.
