Melton RFC First XV will hit the road as they continue their bid to reach a dream Twickenham final.
After two successive home draws in the Midlands Senior Vase, Gareth Collins’ side will travel to either Worcestershire or Staffordshire for their semi-final.
They were handed the toughest possible draw on paper with a trip to either Woodrush or Burntwood who play their re-arranged quarter-final on January 24.
Like Melton, Woodrush are also league leaders, sitting top of Midlands 3 West (South) with just one defeat this season, while Burntwood currently lie sixth in Midlands 3 West (North).
Melton’s semi-final takes place on Saturday. February 14.
The other semi-final will see Leicestershire rivals Vipers travel to Worcestershire to play Upton-on-Severn on January 24.
The Midlands final will be played on March 14 with the winners progressing to the national semi-finals.
The competition culminatees with the national finals at Twickenham Stadium on May 3.
