Queniborough secured a fourth successive Grantham and Melton Association title on the final day of the Sunday league season.
Needing just three points in the final Premier Division match against British Shoe Corporation, Queniborough were indebted to late order runs from Greg Evans (64) to salvage a score of 152 all out and the vital three points.
The hosts found it equally tough going at the crease and were bowled out just shy for 143 as Imran Gheewala (3 for 43) wrapped up Queniborough’s 11th win of the season.
Sunday’s remaining match saw Market Overton pick up their only win of the season in Division Two at Crxoton Kerrial.
Danny Aylin took 5 for 40 for the hosts, but Marko made a defendable 171, largely thanks to Steve Hamilton (41) and Ritchie Watt (45).
David Lambert (4 for 36) and Ryan Thwaites (4 for 15) then bowled Croxton out for 133.
