Old Dalby travelled to Titchfield Park, and after winning the toss, the visitors elected to field.
They got off to a good start when Lee Creedon claimed the first Hucknall wicket in the fifth over with only 16 runs on the board.
Toby Smith then claimed two more victims and Dalby where looking good on 3 for 27 after eight overs.
Tight bowling kept Hucknall’s run rate down with only Andy Wagstaff (44 not out) able to put up any resistance.
An excellent display by 13-year-old Alfie Greaves knocked over the tail as Hucknall were all out for 115 in 34.5 overs
Dalby’s reply began steadily with openers Rob Herrick (39) and Chris Knott (13) slowly adding runs until Knott was dismissed in the 11th over.
Ben Wass (24) and Alistair Fell (20) pushed the score along as Dalby reached the winning post and 118-6 after 28.4 overs.
