Saturday brings the second Muay Thai Assassins show of the year when eight international bouts, a title fight and two boxing matches will be staged at Melton’s Market Tavern.

Assassin Casey Nolan opens the night against Kayden Murray, from Knuckles Gym, in Oldham, before the ever-improving Aliza Agwan challenges Devon Lacey for a title.

An interclub bout follows between Mustaf Agwan and Essa Rasneem before their clubmate Musab Mahroof takes on the more experienced Hardy Murray (Knuckles Gym).

The international programme opens with Assassins Saxon Nugent and Billy Hammond facing Turkish champions Mustafa Ceken and Mahmut Gakham before Kian Nolan has a five-round battle with Samet Turker, another tough Turkish champion.

A charity boxing match between Jamaine Charity and Nathan Donovan is next up before the international action resumes as George Griffiths looks to return to winning ways against Mehmet Ciken.

Tyree Stevens, who won the Jason Roth Trophy as best Assassin at the last hometown show, takes on another Turk, Kaan Ozden, and Thai Barlow goes up a weight to face Muhammed Mirac in a five-round bout.

Michael Robinson is looking for an early knockout as he takes on Kent’s Kyle Reader in the evening’s second boxing match.

Three-time world champion Christie Bereton, from Devon, goes up against Turkish number one Elif Tugba Buke in a hotly-anticipated match before Iman ‘Pretty Killer’ Barlow brings the evening to an end against Turkish rising star Dilek Akar in a five-found bout.

Tickets are on sale from Nicko’s Fish Bar, any Assassin fighter or Facebook Iman Barlow, and available on the night.

Doors open at 5.30pm and the action starts at 6pm.
