Christmas came early for 43 Melton White Tiger Jujitsu students who took their next belt at a grading held at Jubilee Sports last week.
Grading officers Craig Connell (sixth Dan) and Mike Wood (sixth Dan) travelled down from Oldham to put them through their paces and make sure their techniques were up to the right standard.
The young Tiger Cubs, aged three to six, trained hard under instructor Sensei Steve Parkin to achieve their next level.
The 13 students showed great focus and determination to do their best in front of a proud audience of family and friends.
The juniors and seniors had to show their knowledge and competence in this self defence art, and were given a range of scenarios to defend against.
So impressed were the grading officers, they rewarded many students with the highest honours level, noting the great attitude of everyone who took part and how well they worked together.
