A field of 152 visitors and members took part in the Mixed Open at Stoke Rochford GC on August Bank holiday Monday.
The betterball stableford was held in blustery conditions, as 16 pairs scored 40 points and over as they competed for the Bill Roope Cup.
Penny and Craig Hallam won the day with 44 points, just one ahead of runners-up Rina Ozolins and Paul Knapp.

But it was followed by another narrow defeat at Newark where two wins and three halves were not quite enough.
