Stathern Primary School netballers will battle it out for a county title next month after winning an area tournament.
Long Field Academy hosted the Melton and Belvoir Primary High Fives competition last week where 11 teams from eight schools took part.
The teams were split into two groups with the top two of each progressing into the semi-finals.
Brownlow School and Long Clawson A topped the groups and were joined in the last four by runners-up Stathern A and Great Dalby.
Great Dalby met Brownlow in the first semi-final and Stathern A played Long Clawson A in a battle of the Belvoir Schools in the other.
Stathern A were victorious over Long Clawson and then defeated Brownlow in the final.
There was some consolation for beaten semi-finalists Great Dalby who won the Spirit of the Games Award. They will represent the area at the School Games Summer Championship at Welbeck Defence College.
Organisers wish to thank Long Field Academy for hosting the event, Melton Marvels for their support in the run-up to the event, and everyone who took part.
