It has been another superb week for our newly-crowned Junior Sportswoman of the Year, Katie Tagg.
Katie won her first Junior Team England event, having finished runner-up and third several times in recent years. She averaged a staggering 211 over 11 games.
To top that, just days before she picked up her Melton Times award, she took part in the very testing, gruelling England trials and for the fourth time in a row, qualified to bowl for her country.
This will be the final year she is eligible for the juniors and gives her a complete set of Triple Crown events.
Katie has represented England in Wales, Scotland and her home country and this August bank holiday, she will proudly wear the England shirt in Tallaght, Dublin.
