Third-placed Bob Luke and Cheryl Osborne scored 55 points, one clear of Sam Wright and Maureen Stapleford in fourth.

* The first silverware of 2016 was up for grabs on Saturday when a superb field of 124 players competed for the Gerry Davies Trophy.
Richard South and Billy Kevan finished well clear in the betterball format with a total of 42 points.
Second and third places were decided by countback with Sam Pollard and David Poolan taking second spot from Mark Pedge and Dougie Bryce, both pairs having shot 38 points.
The two’s sweep was shared by Jon Baxter, John Harvey and Ricki Curtis.
