Melton father and son Gary and Daniel Christmas cycled the 102-mile Belvoir Blast Sportive on Sunday.
The pair set off from Hose Village hall and completed a gruelling undulating route around the Vale of Belvoir and Rutland Water.
Gary completed the route, which contained more than 5,000ft of climbing, in 8hr 55mins, while Daniel achieved an excellent time of just over six hours.
They were raising money for Dove Cottage Day Hospice in the Vale of Belvoir.
The achievement made up for the disappointment of only doing 86 miles of the 100-mile Prudential Ride London last year.
The 100-mile cycle event had to be shortened to due to torrential rain and high winds.
