Milton Keynes angler Lee Jones qualified for the Middy Winter Series final after last Wednesday’s qualifier at Lakeview Fishery.
Jones finished in joint second place with Mick Beckhurst, but it was regular angler Bob Murray who caught 28lb 5oz off peg five to take top spot.
Murray caught mainly on maggots, deep catching carp and F1s.
The rain poured all day which didn’t help the fish feeding, but the top three weight were close.
