Leicestershire angler Sean Huggins weighed in a monster 171lb haul to win the Sunday Open at Lakeview Fishery last weekend.
The Drennan/Dynamite angler landed 171lb 5oz, caught on worm and caster, from peg eight on the marina, to finish almost 60lb clear of runner-up Dave Harper.
IN the week;s two qualifyign matches for the Middy Baggin Machine Summer Series, Terry Cobrun Jnr and Dean Wright were the latest to reach September’s final.
Terry finished fourth at last Wednesday’s match, less than eight pounds behind winner Kev Kania, while Dean came through in sixth on Saturday when Ken Daws took top spot.
