Neil Edwards had a day to remember at Lake View Fishery last Wednesday when he qualified for the Middy Baggin Machine Summer Series Final and earned a £90 bonus.
Edwards landed a haul of 70lb 4oz on golden peg three on lagoon to earn the bonus. His fourth-place finish was also enough to secure his place in the final on Saturday, September 17.
Chris Neal (Rutlander) will join him there after finishing seventh at Saturday’s qualifier with 57lb 10oz from peg 11 on the lagoon.
And Daz Sly finally overcame rival Bronson Arme to win the Sunday Open match.
Sly weighed in with 106lb 2oz from peg 12 on the serpent lake after a close tussle with LVS angler Arme who landed 99lb 6oz, just three pegs down at nine.
