Jarred Power recorded his latest win on Saturday with a composed and assured performance.
The Melton Boxing Club man travelled to Bedworth with coach Trev Booth to take on Exhall’s M. Edwards.
In the first round, Edwards came out determined to bully his opponent with his strength and power, but the Melton man blocked most of the punches and then unleashed some of his own which found their target.
Power carried on connecting with head and body shots in round two, persuading the referee to give Edwards a standing count.
Power then began to hit his opponent at will and forced Edwards’ corner to throw the towel in.
Melton ABC will next be represented by James Marshall and Callum Power in Leicester on Saturday, November 14, while Josh Quailey will be in action against Frazier Clark at Burton-upon-Trent on Friday, November 27
