Assassins’ favourite Nathan Donovan faces a change of opponent at the Melton Thai boxing gym’s upcoming home show on Saturday, October 13.

Donovan had been due to fight Hull’s Ryan Pearcely at the Market Tavern, but after his withdrawal, the Assassin now faces a rematch with Bobby B from Birmingham Ronan Thai.

The pair last met at a recent Assassins show and produced the fight of the night with both throwing huge shots, and Donovan taking the win.

The bout features on a packed 22-fight card with one world title fight up for grabs and 19 Assassin fighters in action.

It includes six international contests against opponents from Ireland, Germany and Portugal.

Tyree Stevens tackles his second A class bout (elbows and knees to the head) against experienced Liverpool opponent Dom Hill.

His trainer Mark Barlow said: “Tyree wants to get up the British rankings and beating Hill will put him up there with the best.”

Tickets are on sale from Nicko’s Fish Bar and any Assassin fighter, or from the Assassins Muay Thai Facebook page.

Doors open at 5pm ahead of a 5.45pm start.
