The Asfordby and Melton Society of Anglers fished their annual fur and feather Christmas match on Holwell reservoir on Sunday.
A field of 16 anglers braved the freezing conditions, but all caught and went home with a prize thanks to Melton Angling for their generous donations to the prize fund.
Gary Seymour won the day, fishing the pellet waggler from peg two to land six carp for a total of 32lb 8oz and win a turkey for his efforts.
On the neighbouring peg three, Roddy Hubberd was second using slider float at long range for five carp and a haul of 28lb 9oz.
Third place went to Rob Shuter with 16lb 12oz on the pole from peg 25, while close behind in fourth was Colin Way who caught two carp for 16lb.
