Every available place was taken up in the popular event, which was set for the first time over a picturesque one-lap looped course which took competitors through the centre of Cambridge.

Runners passed several city landmarks such as King’s College and the Fitzwilliam Museum, before they headed out to Grantchester and then returned to the finish in the city centre.
