The Fulderiks got off to a flying start to the Melton Summer Pool League as they opened up with a stunning 8-1 victory over the Conkerers.

Elsewhere in Division One, Biff Posey and Steve Patridge grabbed hat-tricks in Arr Boy’s 7-2 win over Thunders.

John Webb nabbed a treble as Monkey Magic thrashed We Don’t Play There Anymore 7-2, while Timmy and His Magic Stick started off their campaign with a win away at the Royal Duke, beating the Oakham team 6-3.

Matt Fisher’s treble helped Chalk is Cheap to a 6-3 win over The Welby.

* In Division Two, Ivan Sherlock’s clearance helped Armee Pere to beat Janet Noels Best 6-3, while Pop Ya Cherry also started their season with a 6-3 victory, beating the newly-promoted Crown team.

Dan Horton made an eight-ball clearance in Olly’s Army’s 6-3 victory over Eaton Ya Mum, and Mark Wardle helped himself to a hat-trick as the Swanderers beat the Red Hot Chilli Potters 6-3.

* In Division Three, the Welby Wanderers, aided by Mark Griffiths’ hat-trick, earned themselves a 7-2 win over Crazy Gang.

Young Guns got off to a winning start, beating You Shall Not Pot 6-3, and I Smell a Re-Rack managed a 6-3 victory over the Notorious TIB.

Rock Out With Your Chalk Out managed to beat last season’s Division Four champions Pool Boyz, 6-3, while Sam Pickup’s treble saw Half Cut to a 5-4 win over the Phoenix Knights.

* In Division Four, last season’s Division Five champions ??? got off to a winning start, 6-3, over See You Next Tuesday with John Beedie getting a hat-trick.

Legion B edged out the Generous Amigos of Briton 5-4 in the deciding frame, and Burton Street Preachers produced a fine 6-3 win over We Are Solids Right?

Noels Cuckoos also managed a 5-4 victory in the deciding frame, beating MSC Elite.

* Division Five new boys Cue Chaos ran out 7-2 winners against Crown Jewels with Cameron Ainge grabbing a hat-trick.

Deaf Lads Pool thumped newcomers Chalk My Tip, 7-2, in their opening game of the season, and Gamblers Anonymous beat Our Drinking Team Has A Pool Problem 5-4, despite a hat-trick from Pat Riddell.

Bears On Powder beat Anything But Straight 5-4, Robbie Taft earning himself a hat-trick, while Terry Clowes’ hat-trick helped Cue Up nab a 5-4 victory over recently relegated Ingall’s Idiots.
