The Conkerers picked up their first win of the Melton Summer Pool League in dominant fashion, beating We Don’t Play There Anymore 7-2.

Neil Ainge’s hat-trick saw the Thunders edge past the Fulderiks 5-4, but a treble from Craig Newbold wasn’t enough to stop Arr Boy losing 5-4 to Chalk is Cheap.

Brian Hughes also notched up a hat-trick as the Welby beat the Duke 5-4, and Monkey Magic went three points clear at the top of Division One with a 5-4 win over Timmy’s Stick.

* In Division Two, hat-tricks from Paul Bryan and Andy Palmer saw Janet Noels Best secure an 8-1 win over Polish Club SL15.

A 5-4 victory over Red Hot Chilli Potters saw Pop Ya Cherry go joint top with The Swanderers who pipped Armee Pere 5-4. Matt Wade and Shane Moore nabbed a treble each as the Crown thrashed Olly’s Army 8-1.

* I Smell a Re-Rack got the first 9-0 of the season as they demolished Crazy Gang in Division Three.

Paul Foote’s hat-trick helped You Shall Not Pot defeat Notorious TIB 7-2, and Duncan Aske’s treble saw Pool Boyz through to a 6-3 victory over Phoenix Knights Youth.

A 6-3 victory over Young Guns saw Rock Out With Your Chalk Out take the top spot, and Welby Wanderers edged out Half Cut to claim a 5-4 victory.

* In Division Four, every match was played out to a 5-4 scoreline as last year’s Division Five winners Beedie’s Bitches went top after beating Noels365.

We Are Solids Right?? beat See You Next Tuesday, with a treble from Dean Lowe sealing things, and Nick Barradell’s treble clinched victory for the Generous Amigos of Briton over Con Merchants.

Pete Morgan was the hat-trick hero in Burton Street Preacher’s win over Legion B.

* Terry Clowes became the only player in all five divisions to score three hat-tricks.

His third saw Cue Up overcome Chalk My Tip 6-3 in Division Five, while a treble from Shane Wallbanks wasn’t enough to stop Our Drinking Team Has a Pool Problem losing 5-4 to Anything But Straight.

Sean Wydra’s hat-trick helped Gamblers Anonymous deal Deaf Lads Pool their first defeat in the league, 5-4, and Ingall’s Idiots matched the scoreline in defeating Cue Chaos.
